This Honda really lacks a range of low gears!
Absolutely 😁, don't forget that's just a Civic underneath...
Beautiful sound
Don't roll over with your arm dangling like that @4:35
Sounds like it has Aussie Lokka in it...
Full stock (oem lsd) 😎
@@GoGoMtb66 ok,it did pretty damn good!
❤❤❤❤❤
Propre!!
Super vidéo, ça donne envie de préparer mon CR-V ! Peux tu nous en dire plus sur ton setup chassis/moteur ?
tiens tiens......
Automatic trasmision??
Nope, manual 5 speed
Gooood!!!!
hey man what wheels are those
New car?
Welded clutches? I don't hear hauwling
What do you mean by welded clutches ?!
@@GoGoMtb66 when you pin and weld rear diff clutches and makes it fulltime awd
OK, no I've got full stock transmission.
What size tires do you have on? Did you use spacers or springs and how much higher did you go?
I've got stock size tires with 30mm spacers and Goss Modular wheels with 12mm offset. It's a 3cm lift kit with King Springs springs and longer shocks. As you can see, snorkel and stainless side pipe
CRV yaaap!!!!!
What exhaust setup do you have?
Any lift?
WHAT KINDA WHEELS ARE THOSE?! LOOKS SICK
Now thats off-road
Awesome
amazing crv. looks and performs good. question, I will be getting a 2000 crv AWD, manual tranny, I will be doing what you are doing, making it off road capable with about that same size tires and lift. my question is , would I still be able to drive it as a daily driver on highway speeds 70Mph, with no issues? or it would have to be more of lower speed vehicle?., also I will be pulling it being a motor home sometimes, I'm wondering if I will have issues doing that with those bigger tires. these cars are very popular to flat tow behind motor home, but that's with stock tires. I Thank you in advance for your opinions, and great job on that crv.
Thank you for your message. I've got stock size tire so it's perfect on road. This is my daily and the main issue is the noise from the exhaust(ni muffler and stainless pipe) at high speed (up to 100km/h) but I can go at 140km/h without any problem ;)
What size tires are on your crv
Stock size.
Thank you for this vid. Im gonna be moving to Colorado this year and I will be lifting my 98 crv soon. Seeing this vid is awesome
I actually live in CO and my lifted RD1 is super fun in the snow and has been really fun on a lot of trails!
Just finished mine here in cali, took it to Ocotillo wells desert this year it was sickkk. im running a turbo t3t4 turbonectics side mount intercooler and arb spring lift handled great
Keep the crv vids coming!
Nice vídeo, im interested to get a CRV and have lots of questions. One of them is, i noticed that your crv have permanent 4x4 is this available on all versions? What about consumption, whats the avg? Sorry if something is not well written, im portuguese by the way. Thanks 👍
Thank you ! The crv rd1 are front wheels drive, when you loose traction the rear wheels are engaged (very quickly) it's called RTfwd(real time four wheels drive). They all come with this in europe (I'm french) with the 2.0l 128hp(mine) or the 147hp. Without mods, it's about 9l/10 100km, with mods (lift kit, snorkel, side pipe exhaust and large wheels) it's more like 10-12 L/100km depends if you're doing off road or high speed.
nice
What brand cold air intake? Where can I get it to purchase?
Shaun Nembhard it's à snorkel from an old Toyota LJ coming from m'y local shop.
What size are your tires?
Naji N Stock size, 205 70 15. Those are Goodyear Wrangler AT+.
Where did you get the snorkel ?
Ricky Gonzalez local shop, it's from an old Toyota LJ.
Cool, by the way nice Cr-v. I'm starting to work on mine this summer !
Thanks ! Good luck =)
What kind of liftkit are you using? I am thinking about getting a crv as well but i am a bit afraight it might be not powerful or high enough for some service roads i wanna go for hunting and fishing.
Kuttler08 King Springs springs +3cm and Koni shocks. You can lift up to 5cm without problems. I think that the main problem is the absence of a diff lock and also maybe slow gears. As usual, the manual transmition is '' faster'' than auto
Thanks for the quick answer :) Can i put in the shocks and springs without any modifications?
Kuttler08 With You're welcome ;) +3cm, no mods needed. But some people with 5cm have some issue with the axles and vibrations at some speed.
Have you done any mods like lift kit?
Elias Romero, Yes ! King Springs springs with +3cm and Koni shocks.
Never thought that the CR V was capable of this type of things... ;)
Dominique Oliveira, you just need to know the limits of the car and also the driver for sure... 😂
Gautier B are your CR-V lifted? And what are your Tyre dimensions? Thanks a lot for the information. I have a CR-V too but never took it to this kind of adventure... Lol Greedings from Portugal. ;)
Dominique Oliveira you're welcome ! Lifted 3cm, stock tire but with 4.2cm offset (3 cm spacers and 1,20cm wheels), old Toyota snorkel and custom exhaust :)
Gautier B thanks a lot. ;)
Are those lift springs? Or did you use spacers for your lift? I thought I saw yellow coil springs?
Nice! Are the wheels Dotz dakars?? Size and offset?
nikos1400 thanks ! The wheels are Goss Modular 7X15/5X114.3 offset 12mm with stock tire size.
What's the set up?? Just muffler delete?
Yes ! I remove the last muffler, large pipe and a snorkel for air admission.
Quite good video, awesome!
Cool.... ;-)
